Dr. Espinosa furthered his education by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), allowing him to merge sports specific drills and movement patterns geared towards optimizing athletic performance into his physical therapy treatment. He has always had an interest in sports and fitness and enjoys helping patients of all ages get back to their desired level of function. In addition, he will be sitting for his Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) examination and seeking to become an Orthopedic Certified Specialist in 2018. Dr. Espinosa prides himself on combining joint mobilization and manual therapy with corrective exercise techniques to improve the mobility of inert tissues and muscles. Dr. Espinosa has experience working with the geriatric population and excels in treating acute post-operative patients as well as patients with neurological diseases.
Dr. Espinosa’s hobbies include Brazilian jiu-jitsu, powerlifting, eating Cuban food, and spending time with friends and family.
