I have been going to Fox Physical Therapy for over 3 weeks and my overall experience has been excellent! After suffering from cervical issues and headaches for over 10 years, I am thrilled to have found Dr. Eric Alexander, who has helped me tremendously in such a short period of time. Eric’s knowledge of spine and neck disorders is amazing and so is his desire to share his knowledge with his clients so they can understand where the pain is coming from and how we can change that! He explains the important exercises I need to do on my own and, he motivates me to do them on a daily basis going forward to maintain our progress and continuing getting better each day. Thank you Eric for your knowledge, compassion, and for being such a lovely person! I highly recommend Dr. Eric Alexander to anyone suffering with chronic neck/headache pain or with any other issues or injuries!

No written words can fully express my gratitude for Fox Physical Therapy, but in particular Dr. Eric Alexander. At the time when I first found my way to Dr. Alexander, I was 29 years old, had worked with multiple physical therapists, endured at least 7 entirely unsuccessful lumbar epidural injections, and was about six months into recovery from my fourth spine surgery - an anterior and posterior lumbar fusion at L5-S1. My pain wasn’t as bad as it had been prior to surgery, but it was still entirely debilitating. The reduction in pain didn’t outweigh the loss of mobility by any measure. I was a prisoner in my own body, petrified to move my body with normal, natural motion; I had long lost count of the number of times that I had been told by many of the most well respected surgeons in orthopedics all of the the things I would never be able to do again was dizzying. As someone whose entire life has revolved around physical fitness, I found myself dreading the thought to go to sleep at night, filled with the fear that I would have to wake up the following morning and live through another day. I was just shy of my 30th birthday, I there was nothing left of the life I had worked so hard for, in any area. After nearly ten long years of physical agony, social isolation, and countless surgeries and procedures, I had made a promise to myself that if there wasn’t at least a 50% improvement by one year following this last surgery, that I would give myself permission not to suffer anymore; I would give myself the permission to die.

After just one month of working with Dr. Alexander I had regained something that I never thought I would experience again - I began to feel a sense of hope again, for the first time in many years. I would be lying if I said there was anything easy about doing real, life-changing, lasting physical rehabilitation. However, I can say with absolute certainty that it IS possible! After three months of working with Dr. Alexander, I was beginning to do exercises with my two dogs in a gym…..after traveling with both of them across the country! I began to slowly but steadily regain my mobility, my independence, my confidence, and my athleticism; none of that would have been possible without Dr. Alexander’s guidance, encouragement, and him believing in me enough to keep pushing me to achieve what he knew I was capable of. I was told I would never be able to carry more than 10 lbs in my life again. Thanks to Dr. Alexander, I am 16 months post-op, training two working K9s, planning to travel internationally in the next couple of months to go mountain climbing with one of those K9s. Today I am living a life that I never dreamed would ever be possible. I didn’t think I would be alive today to share my experience. I didn’t think another side existed, let alone believe that it was possible. I was certainly told by every doctor and surgeon that it wasn’t possible.

Dr. Alexander has helped me to achieve what none of the most talented, sought after surgeons in the country were able to. His knowledge, experience, compassion, creativity, innovative thinking, and passion for what he does is unparalleled. I can walk today because of him. I can smile today because of him. I dream of new goals today because of him. And each and every day I continue to achieve those goals and set new ones, because of him.
