Dr. Barber’s passion for physical therapy began long before graduate school. As a lifelong athlete and outdoor enthusiast, he first encountered PT as a patient recovering from repeated ankle, back, and neck injuries. Before earning his doctorate, he worked in the health and wellness field as a personal trainer and group fitness coach, gaining over nine years of experience with a strong focus on return‐to‐sport and performance training. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, he has led group programs in skiing and snowboarding, swimming, speed and agility, Olympic lifting, calisthenics, and adaptive athletics. Outside the clinic, Dr. Barber enjoys staying active through football, volleyball, and soccer, as well as outdoor pursuits such as hiking, paddleboarding, sailing, and snowboarding.
